13 Facts About Me:
1) I'm not from Chicago, but I consider Chicago a major part of my identity.
2) One of my absolute favorite TV shows of all time is "Lost."
3) I began teaching in 2001.
4) As a kid, I wanted to become an author when I grew up.
5) My first teaching job was as the "Library Teacher" at a south side elementary school.
6) I have two sisters (one older than me, one younger).
7) I have never traveled outside of the U.S. but hope to change that in the future.
8) I play bass and guitar. I want to learn to play the drums.
9) I have started two different screenplays but ended up not liking my ideas enough to finish the scripts.
10) In college I was president of a creative writing group and editor for a literary magazine.
11) I used to host a radio show with two of my friends.
12) I want to make my own podcast showcasing student voice this coming school year.
13) My favorite number is 13.
